The Chronos 4K12 high-speed camera features a built-in 5" touchscreen display, facilitating intuitive and swift navigation through essential settings for capturing high-quality slow-motion videos.

The video demonstration below offers a brief overview of the camera's features accessible from the Main screen, which automatically appears upon camera startup.

The top bar of the Main screen shows the following settings and indicators:

Setting / Indicator

Description

ISO

Dropdown allowing for the adjustment of the image sensor's sensitivity to light. The higher the ISO number, the higher your camera's sensitivity.

​Available Options: 100, 150, 200, 400

Record Length

A countdown timer of the record time remaining.

As the Chronos 4K12 records frames into a ring-buffer, once the timer reaches 0 seconds, a circular icon will be shown to note that the beginning images are now being overwritten by the most recent images.

Hide / Show

Tap anywhere on the video display to hide or show the ISO and Record Length indicators.

The bottom bar of the Main screen shows the following settings and indicators:

Description

The current resolution and framerate setting.

Tap this indicator to enter the Record Settings window, which will allow for further customization of: Resolution, Framerate, ISO (Analog Gain), Bit Depth, and Exposure

The current color temperature setting.

Tap this indicator to enter the White Balance window, which will allow for adjustments to the current color temperature, as well as automatic white-balancing based on the current scene.

Exposure: ________

The current exposure setting.

Tap this indicator to enable adjustments to the exposure. Tap anywhere in the video display to exit the adjustment slider view.

Alternatively, use the scroll wheel to enable broad or fine settings of the exposure. Push the scroll wheel to toggle between broad or fine scrubbing of the exposure.

Exposure units can be set to degrees, fractional, or time-based in the General tab of the Settings screen.

Record / Stop

Start or Stop a recording. This can also be achieved by using the red button on the top of the camera.

Also referred to as the hamburger symbol, tapping this icon will show or hide additional menus and features.
